Now SharePlay Feature Has Arrived on Twitch!
Twitch, which is considered one of the most used live broadcasting platforms, is very popular. The platform, which wants to keep this popularity, continues to improve itself. The platform has now launched SharePlay support to bring viewers closer together. Now, iPhone and iPad users can watch the same broadcast while making FaceTime calls with up to 32 people. However, there is a requirement that everyone in the call logs in to Twitch.
According to the news of Engadget, the SharePlay section is being added to Twitch’s website. However, to use this new feature, participants must initiate a “FaceTime” call with each other. Next, FaceTime will ask if the lead individual wants to play the stream for all of us on the call. After the approval of the lead individual, the flow will start with it on each person’s device.
In addition, all participants are required to install the Twitch app. Additionally, they need to log in to the platform. Attendees will be kept in sync at the same point in the stream. All users can play or pause content for everyone in the conversation. Also, anyone who wants can change the channel by going to another channel.
In addition, during the SharePlay Twitch stream, all users can chat, follow, subscribe to Bits from their separate accounts. However, this feature is only available for iOS 15.1 and iPadOS 15.1 devices for now. There is no integration available for the Twitch Apple TV app yet.
